He later graduated with a BFA at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he was also a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. On the other hand, one of Benjamin’s first TV series was “Nasty Boys”(1989-90), following by “Texas”(1994), and eventually “Law&Order”(1995-99) which perhaps remains his most notable role. For his performance in this series, Bratt was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 1999, and won the ALMA Award for Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series. The same year, he starred in another of his brother’s film “La Mission” as Che Rivera, and for this role he won an Imagen Award for Best Actor.
