Ragga Ragnars is an Icelandic actress and former swimmer who was born Ragnheiður Ragnarsdóttir on October 24, 1984. On the drama series Vikings on History, she played Gunnhild.
At the Athens Summer Olympics in 2004, Ragnars made her Olympic debut as the youngest swimmer from Iceland. She specialized in sprint freestyle competitions. She holds the 50-meter and 100-meter long and short course freestyle records for Iceland on numerous occasions. Additionally, she earned a spot in the Beijing Summer Olympics in 2008.
Ragnars gave up swimming and enrolled in an eight-week “Acting for Film” school at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles. She then enrolled in a one-year program, finishing it in 2015.
She plays Queen Sigrid in an animated series based on the well-known Studio Wildcard game Ark: Survival Evolved that premieres this year, it was revealed at the 2020 Game Awards.
