Ice, ice, boobies.
Polar Products, a company that specializes in hot and cold therapy, is fighting the dreaded summer boob sweat with freezable bra inserts.
Called Cool58 Bra Coolers, these mini ice packs for the twins resemble the silicone chicken cutlets women don for special-occasion curves. Pop them in the fridge or freezer for an hour, the company claims, and the boob packs chill out to a comfortable 58 degrees Fahrenheit — enough to keep you cool without icing over your assets. The effects last up to two hours.
(The site notes that you can also cool them down in ice water, which is weird, but OK. Maybe for those who prefer their cleavage on the clammy side?)
There’s a two-week waitlist for the cheeky coolers, which have been around for “years,” according to a customer service rep, but are just creating a buzz online now. They come in two sizes: one for cups A through C, another for D cups and up. They’re machine washable (thank God) and cost $37.11 for a set of two.
For an additional $38, you can toss on a cooler bag, which looks an awful lot like a breast pump carrying case. It’s not the choice I’d make, but it’s a choice you have.
